Rachael Cicconi, a flutist with the local symphony, is raising her five-year-old son, Timmy, alone after her verbally abusive boyfriend, Timmy's father, left them without a word and without support. Rachael has made some mistakes, but now her only desire is to take care of Timmy the best that she can. Lately, however, Timmy has been waking from nightmares about a killer knight. Rachael believes it may be a combination of his favorite story, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, and early memories of his father's abusive nature that trigger these dreams. Though she would like to meet someone and give Timmy the father he deserves, she's not sure she can ever trust again.

Michel of Banesford finds himself in a world he knows nothing about. This present day is nothing like 1192. But he did what he had vowed to do, he followed a killer into the future. Sir Ruford, better known as Moonslayer, must be stopped whatever the cost, and it had cost Michel all that he knew. The only light in Michel's life now is Rachael, the woman he had protected from a pair of attackers. After hearing of Timmy's nightmares, Michel is convinced that Rachael's son holds the key to finding and stopping Ruford. Timmy, Michel discovers, is a seer. Michel just needs to find what it is that triggers the boy's dreams--or rather, prophecies.  His presence, however, has placed Rachael and Timmy in danger. Now he must protect his new-found family as the hunter becomes the hunted.

This gripping tale from Linda Ciletti took my breath away and will take yours too. Michel, the French speaking chivalrous knight is a dreamboat of a hero and little Timmy, a seer in the making, is a delight too.

The life of single mum Rachael Cicconi is turned upside down when she is rescued from a mugging by a real knight. Michel's quest to stop the murderous Ruford leads him to the twenty-first century and Rachael. His quest is sweetened by his new found love and family in Rachael and Timmy. This sweetness is threatened not only by his old nemesis but also by Timmy's father's reappearance in their life.

In a cliffhanger of a finale, good triumphs evil and Michel keeps his Knight's vow to return to the fold of his new family for a wonderful happily ever after. A superb tale that shouldn't be missed. I recomment it whole-heartedly...well done Linda Ciletti. I look forward to other fantasy adventures from this author.

Quote:
KnightStalker, by multi-published author Linda Ciletti, is an exceptional tale of good vs. evil, when a chivalrous medieval knight suddenly appears into present time to do battle for a solo mother and her small son. How could she not fall in love with him?

Review: Walking home late at night  Rachael is attacked by two men as she passes the unlighted park near her home. All she can think about is staying alive. Her small son, Timmy, is dependent upon her. Then in a blinding flash of lightning, a medieval knight suddenly appears to defend her. Dropping her purse and flute, she manages to escape.  But the noble knight appears on her doorstep, requesting shelter. Once she has looked into his wolfish amber eyes, her heart is no longer her own. Yet, having been badly treated by the boy's father, the man who had abandoned her and their toddler son, she fears to trust again.

KnightStalker is a beautifully written romantic tale, in keeping with the original French Romances of old. It is a reminder that knights of the medieval period always kept their promises. Michel, the French knight, has vowed to return to Rachael and Timmy, no matter what...but can he keep his promise when he battles the evil knight, Ruford of Banesford in an unknown present-day city? If you like really romantic romances, you are really going to enjoy this one, as Rachael and Michel struggle against their passion for one another to stay true to their own goals.

COFFEETIME ROMANCE

Rachael Cicconi's boyfriend left her three years ago. She has since been the single parent of their son, Timmy. Rachael refuses to trust or love again, that is, until a knight in shining armor rescues her from an attack late one night on her way home from work. When he turns up on her doorstep with nowhere to stay, Rachael finds it hard to say no, even though she fears for both her and Timmy's safety.

Michel of Banesford is a knight of old living in England in 1376. When, on the 3 nights of the full moon, someone starts to murder the young maidens. Michel manages to follow this monster, Ruford, through time to America, where he meets Rachael and her young son. For the last two weeks, Timmy has been having nightmares about an evil knight hunting women. This is how long Ruford has been in America, and Michel wonders what could be influencing the boy's dreams.

Michel's prevention of the attack on Rachael changes the course of both their lives. Michel has given up everything he knows and loves to travel to an unknown time and place in order to fulfill his oath to god; he must stop Ruford from killing again. Rachael still has difficulties being able to trust, worrying what she will do if he leaves her. How will Timmy cope if another man walks away from them? Even with all this, she finds herself drawn further into a relationship with Michel, unable to stop her heart from ruling her head.

Ms. Ciletti has written a wonderful book with realistic and colorful characters. I especially liked the way Michel reacted to today's technology and what he thinks is happening. When Rachael turned on a light, he throws holy water on her, thinking she is a witch. Rachael has a number of internal battles throughout the book, worrying what would be best for both her and her son. Timmy is a clever and determined five-year-old boy who, like most of his age, can usually get what he wants with both his mother and Michel. These and many other little points make this book work on all levels.

Linda Ciletti is an author to keep an eye on for any of her releases because they are not to be missed. I adored this story, and it kept me glued to the pages as the adventure and danger increased to a breaking point where one will survive, and one must die. Ms. Ciletti is a talented author, with a skill to bring her characters to life, and to create people that the reader will truly care about.

Please read this story for a fabulous evening's entertainment. Turn off the television (as I did) and lose yourself in the adventures of a lifetime as the past meets the present, and good overcomes evil. I loved the ending, and I would love to read further stories about this couple. (hint hint) Thank you, Ms. Ciletti, for the joy your story brings to the readers.
